Open Firewall SOHO
The Revolution is Here: Plug-In to Security Hardware
The Open Firewall SOHO⢠is a portable mini-computer that replaces your software Firewall and protects your computer or SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) network from malicious attacks before they can reach your PC. The Open Firewall SOHO places a physical barrier between PCs and the Internet to ensure that threats never reach usersâ computers. Unlike software firewalls, the Open Firewall SOHO is based on a dedicated hardware platform specifically designed to protect PCs from the most devastating menaces including denial of service, buffer overflow and the broadest range of malicious attacks.

Open Linux Platform
Open Firewall SOHO enables customers, Linux enthusiasts, developers or anyone else otherwise interested, to access the deviceâs Linux shell.
Accessing the deviceâs Linux CLI (Command-Line Interface) allows you to explore how it works. You can modify, improve and customize any part of the Open Firewall SOHO.
In addition, you can develop brand new applications (security-related or any other type) for the device.
Yoggie Security Systems encourages you to develop new applications, and invites you to share them with your fellow Yoggie enthusiast online, at the dedicate Yoggie Developer Community.
The Ultimate Hardware Firewall
Physical Separation
Internet Hotspots are notorious for their security risks. The fact that you are connected to the same network shared by hundreds of users reveals the identity of your computer, exposing it to security threats.
The Open Firewall SOHO sits between the Internet and your PC computer or SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) network. It utilizes the same approach used to protect corporate networks â physical separation of data. Software only solutions employ a reactive approach to security and only help after youâve been attacked. By physically separating and scanning all incoming data threats never reach your PCs.
Plug and Forget
With Open Firewall SOHO you donât have to be a security expert to enjoy Pentagon level protection. All you have to do is simply connect Open Firewall SOHO to your computer or router and you are protected by a robust hardware Firewall.
If You Think You are Secure with Security Software, Think Again. Having security software installed on your PC is not enough to protect you from security threats, simply because your PC was not designed for security. IP spoofing, denial of service or buffer overflow attacks can bypass security software and cause damage by utilizing PC-related vulnerabilities. Most importantly, trying to stop the attack from inside the computer is ineffective and may be too late.
Open Firewall SOHO â Protect your laptop from the outside As a dedicated security computer with no PC-related vulnerabilities, the Open Firewall SOHO provides security by physically keeping threats away from your PC. This powerful, yet tiny device is easy to carry and use â simply plug to your computer or router for âPentagon level protectionâ and benefits from:
