The Open Firewall SOHO™ is a portable mini-computer that replaces your software Firewall and protects your computer or SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) network from malicious attacks before they can reach your PC. The Open Firewall SOHO places a physical barrier between PCs and the Internet to ensure that threats never reach users’ computers. Unlike software firewalls, the Open Firewall SOHO is based on a dedicated hardware platform specifically designed to protect PCs from the most devastating menaces including denial of service, buffer overflow and the broadest range of malicious attacks.

Open Linux Platform

Open Firewall SOHO enables customers, Linux enthusiasts, developers or anyone else otherwise interested, to access the device’s Linux shell.

Accessing the device’s Linux CLI (Command-Line Interface) allows you to explore how it works. You can modify, improve and customize any part of the Open Firewall SOHO.

In addition, you can develop brand new applications (security-related or any other type) for the device.
